The light

Here's some familiar scripture that I've read about a hundred times. What fascinates me is verse 9. I know the most poular understanding of these scriptures is believing that these verses refer to accepting the Lord and recieving the Light, but verse 9 strikes me as also touching on a belief that since we are all God's creation that there is a small part of us that from birth acts like a homing device and is always seeking the Lord. Some people deny it their whole lives but it is there none the less.
God fully intended for everyone to be in heaven. We are all supposed to seek out and accept the Lord. God simply wants us to choose Him. And he has given us everything we need to do so. The Gospel, the preachers, the Spirit and that light, that small still voice that flares up when the convicting Spirit comes by. I believe verse 9 refers to that small still voice in us all that desires to be reunited with the Lord when our time comes. It is there from birth to rebirth. It is like our lifeline. I can remember the day I got saved like it happened yesterday. I was not raised in a Christian home but when the Lord spoke to me it was like "I know, I know, I need you. I need to accept you. I want to be saved." Like I instantly knew that was where I needed to be. I felt horrible about not being saved sooner.
I just know there are people in our churches today feeling the same way but for some reason they deny their most basic feeling, the desire to accept Jesus, and turn him away. Then if they feel the same way every day of their life like I felt that night, I feel so sorry for them and pray they return someday to accept the Lord.
The scripture: [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. [6] There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. [7] The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. [8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. [9] That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. [11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
